  • My last trimmer was VS. The battery didn't last too long unfortunately and the motor was gone within 2 years. For $20 though it's not bad.

  • The Shaver Shop has a similar all-in-one (Wahl WA9865) for half price @ $29.95 atm…includes rotary shaver attachment and nose/ear trimmer too:

  • Am keen on one of these for the first time.
Anyone knows what is a good reliable brand?

    • I personally wouldn't rave about this brand.

When I purchased this shaver (or one which seemed to be almost identical) I found it didn't last long. Even for the price I didn't feel like it was worth it when compared to other shavers I've purchased at a similar price (such as Remington).

I use a few different brands.
I have a remington 5 piece trimmer kit. Had it for around 5 years. The trimmer blade works well but dont really use the other attachments. I dont use it for the whole beard, just the edges and cleaning up.
I prefer my wahl rechargeable hair clippers. Even though they are hair clippers they work well on my beard.

EDIT: The wahl i have had for about 3 years and both hold charge fine

      • Thanks guys. remington it is!

  • Hmmmmm, is there any way to switch a pos to a neg?

I ordered one of these, paid with PayPal. I get a call a little while later to tell me that I hadn't put in my full address. I didn't enter any address as I paid with PayPal it should bring across all of my details automatically I have never had any problems with this.

So I give them the rest of the details over the phone.

About an hour later I get ANOTHER call from the actual store wanting to confirm my delivery address. She repeats the address and it is WRONG, the person I gave it to over the phone had recorded it incorrectly.

I corrected it for her, but now not that confident of actually receiving it.

Any GGs reps reading this some feedback. Get your PayPal system to actually work and it makes ordering a very simple process.
