Looking for a bug zapper/killer or however they are called. Just need it for indoor for about 40 m2.
Does anyone of you have a good one that he/she could recommend? The insects are taking over control here.
TIA

A good one is about $250-$450, The commercial kind, Normally 2 black fluros in it,
you can buy cheap ones, on ebay as such for $10-$20, I have bought for old lady 2 times 1 lasted 3 months, 1 lasted1 month,
I see them all the time in the Auctions, in specific catering auctions, where resturants have closed down… they normally go for $80-$100
My brother swears by these (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ELECTRIC-MOSQUITO-ZAPPER-INSECT-B… located via random ebay search). Can be found for sale at various locations - cheapest I've seen them is around the $5 mark. Even more fun for all the family, and can assign points for different size bugs.
I have one of the 20W Bunnings Stinger jobs outside and it helps keep the population down, and the snap crackle & pop sound can be quite satisfying for the non-Buddhists out there. Onto second bulb after three years or so. It does look fairly disgusting after a while though, and doesn't get rid of them completely.
A mosquito coil is also cheap and effective to use if you don't mind the smoke it releases
I used to use a bug zapper in the house - years ago.
I did until I read a study that plotted the airborne room-dispersion of (previously) internal fly bacteria after zapping. Freaked me out a little bit…
The tennis racket electric mozzie zapper is excellent, they go for $10-$20.
Works on those tiny sandflies too, don't swing, let them fly into it
I've always wondered if the light from these things doesn't attract every, single bug in sight? As in, from far away- those that may not have ever come to your yard?
In other words, it attracts more than it can kill by simply drawing more to the area? I'm not a fan of the coils, but that seems somehow more reasonable a way to go?
Your thoughts?
Good on you Baghern that's what i was thinking;
These are awesome, and fun for the whole family http://goo.gl/gXpz9H ;)
On a serious note I just use a standard bug zapper from bunnings, think it cost me $40… Reasonably effective
