I was looking to buy a mattress protector, and spotted that Myer has 30-40% off Sheridan Ultracool protectors until tomorrow. A quick sanity check on Google before I got in the car pointed out that COTD has them even cheaper.
For a Queen Size Protector, Myer's discounted price was $119 + shipping (I assume $119 in store), whilst COTD was $79 + Postage of $8.

Yeah I got a cheapo one from big w or kmart or whatever - figured put the extra money into the linen that you actually touch or something.
I just bought one for my queen size spare bed from Big W for $5. I'd splash out for my own bed though, and get the $15 one.
aussie-made protect-a-bed are considered the best and regularly 40% off at target :)

The tencel ones are good. They are cooler than cotton. You can also get one that won't let liquids through, but doesn't feel like a rubber sheet.
Can't justify paying so much for a mattress protector.
You'd have to be an Ultrafool to buy these!
