Hi just wondering if anyone knows the approx. trade-in value of a white wii console?
Bought a cheap bundle off gumtree as it was worth it for the controller & included games but don't actually want the console, sensor bar & wires.
It's in great condition, hardly used.
They are selling for $47 at EB so probably $20ish. Probably less if you aren't going to give the controller. Ebay isn't that much better around $40 shipped and not a lot of interest.
$20-ish? lol, try $5-ish. EB do not work on a 100% profit margin in their second hand stuff, it's much higher in most cases.

Condition doesn't get you any better pricing. Its either in working order or it isn't.
Better off trying to sell it on gumtree again probably..
I got $18 trade in for it at EB Games. If i'd had the controller & nunchuck it would have been $28.
wow $18? so you traded it in..? I probably would've kept it, play some good old Gamecube stuff on it. But fair enough if you weren't gonna use it

Yeh I already have a wii but this lady was selling it as a bundle and it was too good not to pass up.

I've been pleasantly surprised by using my spare Wii as a Media Player (using WiiMC) hooked up to my old not so smart TV in the bedroom. It connects to the file shares on my NAS with no issues, seems to stream smoothly and even though it's only SD the picture quality comes out suprisingly well via the component cables.
I might have to try that in the kids room.
I'm selling my brand new Wiis (without controllers) is anyone is interested.
