Hi All,
I'm looking for your recommendations on a decent coffee machine up to $700.
In particular i'm not after a POD machine or an automated one with a grinder. I have a Sunbeam EM0480 grinder as well as a Sunbeam Milk Frother, so I won't need to double up on this.
Therefore i'm after a decent machine that will make the most out of good beans. I'm not an espresso drinker (yet), I mainly drink flat whites.
Your recommendations?
I have a Gaggia Classic that has been going strong for 7 years now with no problems at all in that time. Buy quality and it will serve you well.
Silvia is definitely a good investment. You can get second hand or pay a little more for new.
Sunbeam has just released the em7000, an upgrade from the em6910 - its had some pretty good reviews.
When on special you can buy it for a little over $700 and i've seen it come with a grinder (which you could sell if you wanted)

Are there brands I should avoid and those that are generally well respected ?
