One eBay seller has reaped more than $3000 in four days. "I am absolutely stunned what people are paying," he said. The scalper bought 50 of the $5 albums last Thursday and has been re-selling them online for $70. "I think it's pressure from their children. I am exploiting the laziness of parents who couldn't be bothered buying them earlier," he said.

  • I've just put 20 of them in the bin!!!! - Will now go to retrieve them !

  • Yes, I read the same article.

These guys have no decency nor shame, trying to broden these albums with the poor parents forking out a truckload of money to keep their kids happy.

But Woolies will stop this from happening now as they are re-printing these albums and selling them for $5…

  • +1

I think this is the reason why the albums are in shortage. They stopped selling them after someone spotted it and posted it on their facebook page.

  • Are the $70 albums being sold online full of cards or empty. I took the cards for free but refused to pay for the albums, cuddly toys or activity books. My children are using shoe boxes to store the cards and having lots of fun going through them.

    • some empty, some with cards.

Some idiot is asked $5000 for an empty folder with what appears to be a manufacturing error:

Other idiots are making offers on it

      • HAHAHA. Hilarious.

I don't really want to sell it because I believe it is one of a kind & a collector item. It is very valuable but if the price is right, I will consider selling this unique album.
