    I bought one of these a couple of years ago. A very dependable shaver. 8 out of 10 for closeness and 10 out of 10 for durability. Replacement blades and foils are also very well priced at $48 USD:

    You can also just turn the socket prongs slightly with some pliers if you couldn't be bothered buying an adaptor.

    ES-LV52 is better for 30% more $170US delivered. My donkeykong hair is thick and the LV52 should feel at home.

    Have had this same model for about 4 years. Love it. Brilliant shaver. Had other (brands) before this and they did not match up - in both closeness of shave and durability. I have only replaced the blades and foil once in that time.

    Top price. Just remember that when the internal battery is dead, the shaver is too. There is no easy way to replace it. After several hundred charges, all rechargeable batteries end up with far less battery capacity than when new.

    OMG, you folk shave? I just use beard trimmers… gets close enough.
    My Bosch whatever I picked up 10 years ago for $30 is still going strong, and I haven't replaced anything.

    I bought it two years ago for $140 including shipping from Amazon. So the price hasn't changed a lot. It's still going strong. But I hate the noise. I would rather use my good old Panasonic 7041.
