Seemed good value or maybe I was just sick of looking. If anyone is interested I will try to upload the receipt. Seems from previous mentions of Bunnings though that each store does their own thing and don't feel compelled to match anyway.

Was this an ex-display item in the clearance section of the tools area? Me thinks it is a one-off ex-display only.
No there were quite a few of them there. Mine was one on the top of two other rows probably 15-20 there. They were listed as clearance $299. There was also another kit but I was told the batteries would not fit other Makita items.
I take it from that comment that it is a reasonable price.
From what I recall these were going for around $499 RRP, so at $250 you got yourself a great set of tools for a great price. These makita tools are strong and can take on anything. I didn't see these in my local bunnings yesterday though.
