    Cause it's a piece of crap as the $29 price indicates.
    It'll rust at the first sign of moisture cause the galv will be thin and patchy.

    There are statutory warranties that are above and beyond what is stated on packaging/instructions/etc. How long could one reasonably expect an outdoor swing to last. Any reasonable time, you are covered. Having said that, I think 10 years is unreasonable, but maybe if it fails within 3 years and there is no sign of excessive use (eg you have a fat kid) you should be covered, if you can be bothered following the processes with Consumer Affairs etc.

    But keep in mind with most (all?) of these swing sets, the plastic only lasts a certain while before it is "out of date", and needs to be replaced.

  But just a note for everyone (If you're not a Rays Rewards Member); Before you head down there, sign up online.
