anyone else having issues with these coupon codes on iphone? i add them but the the only thing that comes up is the $1 crusher but strangely it isnt one of the codes in the .db file..

Haha, I'm having a look through the flash file now.
The .db file isn't the only thing - there is a function that compares the server data with the database data. You've got to do both to get it to work.
Edit: If you go into Airplane mode it should be fine, though.
Has anyone figured out the algorithm for playerPrizeID? Does it do checks to make sure the data you put in match?
Even on airplane mode they come up as expired no matter what date i put in. even put "null" in one of the fields and came up with 'expired on nan/nan at nan/nan' lol

playerPrizeID is unique even if its the same coupon it generates a new code. playerPrizeID is what the server reads i believe and thats randomly generated
Yes, and from what I can see, checkDBAgainstServer() only finds what it needs to update the database with that is on the server. Still digging though.
Wow! Managed to get a free Nuggets Snack Box.
So the way I did it was reverse engineer checkDBAgainstServer(). It goes through and matches all the prizePlayerID's and if there is a mismatch, it adds the missing row automatically.
So I just intercepted the packet using Burp Suite and added in this row:

So you can do the same thing in the DB. Just by adding another row, and making PlayerPrizeID unique.

Two options … clear all KFC app data, that should reset your stats and coupons.
If not, clear data & then uninstall & reinstall app.

I got a buy one get one free popcorn chicken snackbox for $3.50 which is a bargain, especially with the sales staff filling both boxes to the brim. Being an Ozbargainer, I stacked on a $1 Krusher coupon (worth $4) to increase the savings percentage.
There's also a coupon for a FREE Krusher with the same conditions. No need to pay an extra $1.
KFC staff let stacking a $1 Krusher pass but denied the free Krusher voucher after already getting an extra snackbox.
I've sent everyone a PM that asked for updates with some cool things to play with in it.

Hey guys, before I file a complaint with KFC, has anyone been told they have to buy something instore to redeem your freebies? The manager said that it was in the Terms and Conditions, saying that Franchises had the right to charge customers (i.e change the rules). I ended up buying another item in order to redeem my free Wicked Wings and free Popcorn Chicken Snackbox!
I can't see anything in the T&C's … anyone agree/disagree??

Definitely done with packet interception. Similar to what I've gotten to work. As long as he's producing a random PlayerPrizeID, the app will just keep adding more and more prizes every time he receives a packet from the server.

I got blasted for even merely mentioning the idea of hacking the Big Mac Chant app but with this KFC app it is already in full swing and being actively worked on. So it's not fraud if you're doing it to KFC?
Pretty sure people tend to like hating on KFC maybe that's why haha.
The terms and conditions don't explicitly exclude one from doing it at present.
with the buy 3 wicked wings get 1 free, does that mean

or literally you get one extra wing free?
You get a 4th wing free … however, the first time I redeemed it, myself and the cashier thought it was BOGOF box (x3 wings), so yes it is confusing and you may find it advantageous!
Is there an easy way to "reset" the achievements? Like if I uninstall the app and reinstall?
An uninstall and reinstall for me got rid of my achievements but kept some coupons, so double win! :)

Just thought I should mention, if you disconnect from the internet when you redeem, quit right away and clear app data. The voucher more often than not returns… (I had 15 wicked wings Tuesday)

PS - Wicked wings are hit and miss lately. Some seem to have no zinger flavouring on them at all.
Over a period of around 5 hours (Exam time=KFC Breaks 6 at 3pm & 9 at 8pm ). Being in a CBD filled with KFC's helped with this as well and according to the app it just expired without me ever using it lol. But maybe I've just been lucky with the voucher respawn but def worth a try.
