Never buy an office chair before you actually sit on it to test how comfortable you are with it…

  Agreed 100%. Even if you have touched and sit on it before buying you might end up buying the wrong chair especially if you are the overweight type of person (like me).

I've been ut to the milandirect store a few years back. was NOT impressed with the quality and you had to do most of the assembly yourself.

I ended up going to another store not far from my house where I could try all the chairs and ended up buy a gregory inca chair. The dual density foam seat is very comfy along with the high back support. Worth every $$$

I need a new office chair, but I would never buy one without sitting in it. Even more expensive and high quality ones have felt more uncomfortable than a few budget ones I've found. You just can't tell.
