KFC Vouchers (NSW, Vic & ACT Only) Valid until 18th November.

1230

Normally I rely on other OzBargainers to get the occasional KFC voucher. But for the first time ever I actually got them in my letterbox yesterday.

This is the usual assortment of offers but my favourite is the Chicken & Wicked Wings Pack for $24.95.

I have never had an issue with presenting a printed version of these vouchers. Substitutions however do seem to depend on the store. For example with the Chicken & Wicked Wings some will swap the potato and gravy for a large coleslaw and others won't. It doesn't hurt to ask.

EDIT: As requested, here are some better quality images of the KFC vouchers.

Make sure you download the file as the Google Drive preview can be pretty nasty too.

I think this deal works in SA all year round, just say the name, hidden menu apparently.

    • Nice. Haven't seen this in NSW for a while.

    Thanks OP!

Obligatory comment about KFC being bad for you, blah blah blah.

    • White meat is better for digestion.

And they use healthier oil now.

      Happy?

      • -4

White meat is better for digestion than what? red meat - yes, fruit and vegetables - no.

And worse - with almost all fried food these days - they use canola oils which contain trans fats. This is the worst oil you can eat.
I'd much rather have food fried in saturated fat - seriously.

In fact, at KFC you don't even need to show them the voucher. Just mention that you want to use it and they'll give you the deal. My sons work there and they told me this.

    • +6

This usually works but last week I got a bitch who wouldn't let me order the deal without a coupon. It just depends who is serving you.

      • same here, i show them on my phone, sometimes they do let you have it.

        • My kids must work at a good store.

  • Thank you for posting.

No other positives from the other commentators smh.

  • I use to get them in the mail, and then it stops and then they send it again..does anyone know why? Just curious because although I still use the ones on ozbargain and they are fine, I prefer to have my own.

    • do you get your local paper? usually i find them in there in a big mess of catalogues and stuff

      • Use to get them amongst the catalogues but they haven't come for ages. Oh well, these will be good treat for when I pick up my kid from school today! Thanks op :D

  • No Love for QLD yet… (KFC QLD is a different franchisee).

Keep and eye on this for future QLD promotions.

As a Vegan dieter, why I'm even checking this post. Guess I must feel so bored at work today.

    • +13

      The ol' saying is true!
"How do you spot the vegan at the party? Don't worry, they'll tell you."

    • potato and gravy? I love it

      • You know it contains chicken extract right? Like it's not even a secret, it's on their webpage and Facebook FAQ.

That goes for their chips too, and pretty much everything else on their menu.

  • Got to love cheap as chips meal!

Pity the 9 pieces for $9.95 deal has now ended (only found out last night when tried to buy it).

    Thanks for the coupons!

    • +2

Did you walk away… like any true ozbargainer would have?

      • I thought there's no "end dates" on the poster?

    • no it was still available last night. I went to my local store.

    • Really? I got two boxes from my local KFC yesterday!

  • WA Ozbargainers, keep a look out in your junkmail. I received some similar coupons in the mail earlier this week.

  • Shame they stopped the 9 for $9 deal, that was a pretty decent deal.

Am I the only one who finds KFC too expensive relative to the quality and quantity of food you get? Particularly when my local KFC always seems to give me 2 or more near-inedible pieces of "chicken" (pieces which are basically 90% bone and gristle) per pack of 8, which reduces the value significantly.

Once you start paying ~$20 for a meal for 2 people, I'd rather pay a bit more for something much better from a proper (not fast food) restaurant.

KFC is cheaper than Red Lee 10 pieces for $15. They've sort of redefined themselves as budget fastfood joint. (only if you buy the specials which may fall on a certain day)

Definately cheaper than MacDonalds IMHO. No wonder people are leavng Maccers in droves. They are catering for all markets. If your rich buy one of their lunch packs for around $10.. if you like to bargain you can feed a family of 4 for the $10-20.

Only place that can beat them is when woolies randomly have half price roast chooks in the evening. (LIke $5 for family size free-range chook)

        "Definately cheaper than MacDonalds IMHO."

Depends on what you want I suppose. My standard meal for one at Maccas is a medium Big Mac meal with chocolate shake, $9.15. At KFC, it's a Twister combo, with the drink upgraded to a Crusher, $10.95.

        • +1

In my ozbargain ways, at Maccas I either get:

          A. medium cheeseburger meal + Mcdouble, and then combined the burgers for an (almost) triple cheese burger. $6.75

          or currently

          B. smurfs combo (aka small quarter pounder meal), and swap the weird frozen drink for a normal coke. $5

          ozbargain 4 lyf! :P

  • KFC Queensland seem to hardly ever have deals on in comparison to the other states… So frustrating!

Don't forget the KFC Snack Attack app which also gives you additional freebies. I rarely go to KFC but because of all the free wicked wings, BBQ bacon rollers and other little prizes I tend to go once a week now. I guess that app could be considered a success for a person like me. :-)
