just wondering. can you mirror android device using chromecast like you can an ios device with airplay ?

i am currently using xbmc upnp+yatse app to play videos from nexus devices to my windows htpc.

Nope can't mirror. I use skifta and plexus on my nexus and I am pretty happy. Let's see how chrome is.

From the FAQ section on that Amazon listing:

"Can I bring Chromecast with me to another country?
Chromecast is only supported in the United States."

Not sure what that means in practice though.
