4 GB Disk Space, 400 GB Bandwidth. SSH would cost $35.40 per year extra.

There are free providers who have unlimited disk space and bandwidth, with SSH, however they don't have 100% uptime, and probably not good support either. At $47.88/year I'm not confident I would usually use this provider, but I suppose I can always try since its free. Though by the looks of it, this might require credit card, in which case I can't try.

Just unfortunate I can't register a domain name for $1 at the moment.

    • Last time I checked them out, those perennially free c-panel accounts are perenially swamped and unusable. The free tier at AWS & Bitnami apps are pretty cool, though.

This seems like a proper hosting company with a good introductory offer - let's see.

    • could you share that where you could get this deal?

"…There are free providers who have unlimited disk space and bandwidth, with SSH, however they don't have 100% uptime, and probably not good support either."

  • Their SOA records seem to indicate that they're reselling VentraIP services. :/

      Hello Tyrx,

We are not a reseller of VentraIP at all.

VentraIP Wholesale is one of our wholesale domain name providers as there are only a hand full of auDA accredited registrars.

Please feel free to open a ticket if you would like to know more.

    • They're using Servers Australia as their host/datacentre.

  • Thank you. Having a play now.

  • So its $24.45 a year after I've input the code?

      Hello Johnny-Kun,

As long as you've selected Standard Hosting and selected Yearly for your payment term, the price should drop to $0.

Please feel free to open a ticket if you need more help with this.

      • I have submitted a ticket, hope you can help me out ^_^

      • Comes with free domain too?

        • I accidentally selected domain, ah well. Already paid for it so I might as well keep it for 2 years :P

        • Already paid for it

          How much?

That's expensive! I was expecting $1 per year.

        • +1

Yeah, their policy is no refunds so I'm stuck with it either way. Doesn't matter, they have great customer service from what I can see

$1 per year for a .com.au domain? Where on earth do you buy domains?

        • -2

          I don't need .com.au. I found $1 domain per year for .asn.au.

.com domain cost A$3.99 per year still cheap.

          http://www.crazydomains.com.au/domain-names/#pricing

        • +4

No actually, it costs $8 to renew, and .com costs $13 to renew a .com. (Which is your REAL year to year cost.)

Not to mention crazy domains is a HORRIBLE registrar.

          Who even wants a .asn.au ???

Seems like a good replacement for a new cPanel host after the expiry of the Zuver deal from last year but alas it appears to be expired.

      Hello Cooldude123.

We've had an overwhelming number of signups, in the thousands in-fact on the first day of this promotion so our technical team have decided to pause this promotion until they can add a new node to our fleet.

Please be aware that all paid services are still available.

I have been advised that this offer will be posted again when the new node is configured and ready for sale.

      • bummer if you get it back up can you let me know.. I was gonna do it this morning but got distracted with a slight family emergency lol

  • +1

I was mislead by 5/11 and I missed it ….

    • +3

      Hello ntebis,

This deal has exceeded all of our expectations regarding popularity so we want to add a new node to our fleet before we continue with this and therefore have temporarily disabled the code.

We are really focusing on quality of service before we look at quantity of clients using these promotions.

We will keep you posted here.

      • I look forward to that. I really wanted to take up this offer.

  • Anyone else experiencing problems with their hosting today???
    Mine is dead!

    • It would be good if their support department would respond to my emails!!!

    • Learned my lesson …

  • Mine is dead also… theyr front page isn't accesible eigther.

    • Anyone have a contact number for them? They are not responding to emails.

  • Looks like it is back up and working again now…

  • Hello Guys,

Yesterday we had our first major outage in two years of operating. We had a problem with one of our upstream data providers at our Sydney PoP. Our technical team worked tirelessly with the provider until the issue was resolved. Unfortunately it has taken this outage to realise that it's definatly not advisable to keep our own website hosted in the same rack as our servers that serve our customers.

This means that even though the servers in Sydney were operating perfectly, the connection between the servers and some customers on some ISPs was broken for some time. This also means that we weren't receiving emails from customers that were affected.

We have now learnt from this mistake and our management team are planning to move our corporate website and data to a completely isolated PoP so we are still reachable if an outage like this ever occurs again.

Feel free to send us a ticket if you want to talk further about what happened.

We are very sorry if this caused any inconvenience for anyone.
