Oh yeah, luv a good bit o crumpet.
Actually saw an interesting thing on TV - someone that worked at a crumpet factory said that because crumpets are cooked at a very low temperature they are prone to going mouldy easily. That's why they invented crumpet toast, because that's cooked at a higher temperature and kills the stuff that grows mould.

I love crumpets too. I have one issue with Woolies and their crumpets: sometimes they are mouldy. It is a good idea to have a close look before throwing them in the trolley.
