Nexus 7 (2012) buy with returns policy ?

Hey, I'm trying to get a tablet for my grandmum, for her to watch youtube, skype, and minimal web browsing, and decided that the old nexus 7 would be optimal for her.
Then simply get Nova launcher, remove the dock and app drawer, and only have 4-5 big icons on one home page using the following app.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gabetaubma…

The question I wanted to ask was, where could I buy an old (2012) nexus 7 for cheap, and possibly be able to return it within a week?

It doesnt matter if its used/refurbished, I need the returns period incase it doesnt work out for her and me.

  • You can't return products when you have opened and used them, especially expensive electronics. You can just sell it on eBay or keep it for yourself if she doesn't like it.

    • I have the new nexus 7. Plus, ive heard on ebay its a pain to sell tablets because of scammers and whatnot.

      • You may have heard wrong. It's not very hard to sell on ebay, provided the person buying is legitimate (most of the time they are if you have a reasonable amount of feedback and such).

Just make sure you post registered post and whatnot and it should go smoothly. Heck, someone on ozbargain would probably buy it off you on the forums.

I would try EB Games; Nexus 7 16gb/32gb for $158/$188. Go in-store and explain your situation (it's a pretty valid one) and ask if their returns policy covers tablets (the only hardware exclusions it mentions are headphones)

Yeah, got the 32 gb one online (since 16Gugs were sold out), and apparently, I have 7 days to return the tablet from date of dispach.
