Mobile phone (unlocked) deals..any android/apple/windows

hi all
my mobile phone died (HTC) so I'm in need of a good value smart phone at the best possible price, I missed the Nokia 520 $99 offer on the weekend >.<

Do deals usually come up close to the weekend? I'm not fussed about the platform/OS, happy with any as long as it has screen bigger than 3.5".

Also what's the best way of getting notified if there's a deal coming up on ozbargain? really really need to snatch 1 this time…
please help !

    I've never trusted HTC brands. why don't you get the HTC One SV? it was on special just last week

      that was the first time i used HTC but yes you're correct i've never had a phone failed on me before the contracts were up and HTC did it to me.

      my phone just died so i wouldn't have looked last week, if yes i might've gotten it.
