I purchased a factory second X1 Carbon from Greys Online the other day and today it arrived. The 2 things wrong with it were no charger and a broken screen.
I need to purchase a screen and a charger for this laptop, where would you recommend?
I'd rather genuine parts but don't want to be paying a lot…
The screen is non-touch, it is 1600x900, can I just use a standard 14.0" LED screen?

Should I get a third party charger? Would it be safe?
Also, with the screen, where could I get one cheapest?
check ebay for your screen - you'll need the direct replacement, not some generic screen.
Charger can be got from lenovo direct, or ebay.
The stock charger for the carbons is quite bulky in comparison to the laptop so I'd get the slimline/travel charger (i think thats what it's called).
