Just thinking for Christmas and a couple of birthdays coming up, thanks
any deals on gift cards at the moment?

If you're in the habit of buying alot of giftcards, you may be able to justify signing-up to the https://www.karekard.com.au site.
I signed on for a year by way of a half-price deal (full price is $49.95). Despite being offered another deal, I didn't renew, because I belatedly discovered that the main cards I wanted to buy (5% discount), needed to be delivered instead of purchased over-the-counter.
They still send me emails, and these days - on an occasional basis, have 7.5% off deals on giftcards - which would offset postage costs if you buy a number of cards at once, or even just one, if of sufficient denomination. Standard post is $1.50, registered is $3.95.
You can also sign-up for emails from the www.cardlimbo.com.au site. Most percentage-off deals are small, as are the range of cards on offer at any given point.
Either way, if you're keen, both are reputable sites.can you use amex to purchase the gift cards on karekard?
No idea. Email them, or try a mock sign-up. If they accept Amex for that, you should be alright for the card purchases.
do not have any particular card in mind, just looking for a bargain :-) tk
Quite alot of options on the karekard site, including Woolworths Wish cards.
Other than card limbo, I would suggest asking anyone you know who has the entertainment book. You get 5% off the major supermarkets and not sure what else. I haven't really looked. However they're not huge discounts that you can't get wiht the ING direct paywave offer.
Otherwise if you're willing to take a chance, you can always bid on gift cards on ebay. Sometimes they go for cheap. Or look on gumtree.
Any gift cards in particular?
