if you are going away on a weekend (friday to monday), car parking only cost $69 for booking 1 week in advance.
(Not valid for october long weekend)

I don't know of any cheap parking but you could do what I do and park in a nearby street and walk. I park in the street that the ibis hotel is in. If you caught a taxi it shouldn't cost much but the walk isn't too bad.
