be aware most of the games dont work properly under Win8 64-bit / for me anyway and steam support is terrible…
i purhcased at $9… so $2.50 is a bargain price…
Switching the compatibility mode for the Commmandos.exe to Windows XP or lower usually works.
If not, these fixes should do the trick:

champion…
thanks mate, maybe i'd actually get to play them again haha…
Oh man, talk about old-school difficulty; these games were bloody hard.
I remember the graphics in the first game wowing the shit out of me as a kid; didn't think isometric RTS games could look that good back in 1998.
And the graphics still hold up pretty well even today. And that for a 15 year old game.
Lost many nights of sleep back in the days because of this. Great games they were!!
Yeah, damn hard. Had the tolerance at the time, not so much now.
this game rocks!!! i remember trying so many times to even finish a level!!!
Sigh…damn you steam (or bundlestars), yet another bundle of games I WILL purchase and probably never get around to playing.
back when games were hard and required a minimum of a brain
if Commandos exist for PS 3 today, it would be pure massacre on Nazi soldiers FPS style :D
With the game pointing which direction to run
FYI i needed to purchase this using paypal and was charged in GBP, so current conversion rate came to $2.51
Just purchased and all have activated correctly in steam.
Good bundle, but i bought the 3.77 one on the same page =p
I purchased this games bundle for what I considered a very good price (sucked in!), however I wasn't told and didn't envisage the hoops I would be put through to redeem my purchase. That plus the fact I have to download an associate program (Steam?… a 100meg invasion of my hard drive…gasp) before I can get them PLUS I hadn't got to the downloading before (within 30 minutes of registration) being hit with 2 emails from a subscription where I elected not to receive any(?). That's the lack of respect they have for their customers wishes.
You may not agree… but I call this mindless control with a very certain agenda designed for their benefit alone. Who cares about you mate?
It's not the small amount of money but the principle that drove me to ask for a refund of the purchase price.
Yeah… fat chance I know. Even so, I retain the certain knowledge that my email address will be sold and circulated to all and sundry and junk mail will haunt me to my grave from this - regardless of my stated wishes or any guarantees given to the contrary.
I am bitterly disappointed with all this, but similarly amazed that the young "gamers" of our society accept this as OK in their anxiety to get their hands on these games.
Pre-warned is pre-armed, but we aren't given that luxury with these offers are we. I wont be caught again.
I love these games.
However I often lament that the Sniper had brought a sum total of SIX bullets to a War.
