iiNet increase quota on plans!

Hi Guys,

Incase you didn't notice your usage bar.. iiNet have added more quota to their plans!

I'm on Naked DSL 200gb I now have 250gb :)

  I'm not feeling the love from Internode, been a long time since they updated their plans. Perhaps this is how they are merging with iiNode, just waiting till all their customers get fed up and switch.

    Very underwhelming. Nothing on my plan. Might have to change to iiNet, annoying part is that means swapping to Telstra.

  I'm with TPG, but I'm curious if the other ISPs have some big feature/selling point which is better than an unlimited TPG plan?

    With Internode (and to a lesser extent iiNet) their selling points are on the content they choose to make unmetered, the control they give to the end user and the level of service and competence.

    They do not compete on quota/price.

      Thanks for the reply. TPG support is hit or miss. The one time I did have to call them (a tech screwed up my pair on the phone pole) we did get it sorted out. The accent can be hit or miss, but it was sufficient. I'd call it 6 out of 10.

      The unmetered content is less interesting because of the lack of quota, and I'm not a gamer.

      What do you mean about "control they give to the end user"?

        They are pretty good about changing profiles to whatever you request. Static IPs and other options are easy and there are good tools for usage. Also easy to turn off port blocking.

  I saw that this morning when they updated their iphone app. I thought I'd misread it or it was the extra bit, the 24 megabytes per gigabyte adding up. I wasn't paying a lot of attention.

  That is great. Just what I needed since they kids discovered youtube a couple of months back.
