Not sure about that haven't really gotten to downloading it, saw it on engadget by coincidence.
Probably lots of in app purchases, but all games have those nowadays.so if all games have them nowadays then why dont you list all games here, instead of just this one?
This is not 'free for a limited time', this is always free due to the real cost being in-app purchases. This is not ozbargain worthy.
As with most recent EA mobile releases, this is yet another F2P game; it'll always be free.

Does any one know what you actually get for free, seeing as these are usually the basic modes in the game?
Probably start charging per kick… 3 points for a single strike of the ball or 2 for 5.

Just downloaded it, from whta I can see it's not a freemium game, appears to be all including (apart from obviously the coins for buying players in the season modes).
If you just want it to play the odd game, save progress etc it appears fine.
Can you buy Harry Kewel and then make him sit on the bench ?
With the all the match fixing scandals in football recently, EA should've just given us the ability to bribe the ref using in-app purchases.
If you have the fifa 13 on your ios stick with that. This fifa 14 you gotta unlock kickoff mode for $5.49!!
thanks for the tip. saved me 1gb and the time it would've taken to delete fifa 13, download the new one, realise it's rubbish, delete it, and redownload/transfer fifa 13.
Apparently this week you get a free gold premium pack valued at $5.49 but I'm buggered if I can figure out what that means, or where to claim it. I like the touch controls but I hate the free to play , pay to win model.
