    Hi OP

I would like a free razor. I am happy to try it out and post on this deal as to the quality. Please send me a PM and I will reply with my address.

Happy to post a negative comment first criticising your product if that is required. :)

I already asked. He told me he had no samples left, while offering one to anyone who said something negative about his product.

I wouldn't hold my breath if you took him up on his offer.

More likely trying to get the names and addresses of those that are being critical to send them a solicitors letter or similar.

He claims to have PM'd me an offer when he last spammed us, I received no such PM as I had and still do have PM's disabled. Lie after lie after lie from this rep.

  • Thanks, looking forward to try it!

    Beards are free :-)

The OP is not telling the whole story, Aussie Shave is a part/copy of the Dollar Shave club in the USA https://au.dollarshaveclub.com/select-blade for the Aussie version, unlike what was advised in the ACA, TT it seems the work was done by Michael Dubin at the Dollar Shave Club. More info http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW8S-QBKcq4

They did not get 100 customers from the last time Aussie Shave posted on OzBargain, 500 clicks at a 20% click rate, and only one + vote?

  • Do we really have to defame your product to get a free sample?

Can I just email you and ask nicely?

    • As per Today Tonight test, these are low quality and will probably cut your face up
    • These are not "brand name", they are a no name business selling overpriced razors. Better value from the supermarket as discussed above and in previous deal.
    • Rep claims it's 100% Australian and no profits go overseas. This gives the impression it's Australian made. This is wrong. Someone is profiting overseas from this product. From their website - "We travelled the world to find factories that can produce 'brand name' quailty razors and have cut out the middle man to save you up to 70%."
    • Rep only replies to users concerns with vague answers and only offers samples to select users.
    • Rep posts customers personal correspondence on public forums with identifiable information still contained in them (or is fabricating them).

Well said, i also smell a rat, and can not trust a single thing the rep has posted here.

Thanks. And looking at their history they have multiple deals deleted for sockpuppeting too, that indicates they have no issues lying and misleading everyone about their offers and have needed fake accounts to boost votes/comments.

      • I think we can discount both of the stories on TT/aca….. we know very well that 'news' can be bought…. be it by this company or it's competitors.
      • Better value may be from the supermarkets, or not. In the absence of anyone with reliable experience of the products it's a 'he said-she said' situation. Rep says they're great…. people who have never used them say they're not….. Stalemate
      • Rep only claims it's 100% Australian owned…. this gives you, and perhaps others the impression that it's Australian made…. clearly you are wrong and the rep has stated numerous times that the blades are made overseas.
      • I have thus far not seen any specific concerns that the rep could answer…. only vague claims that the blades are 'no good'. Aside from refuting that, and offering samples to what seem to be the most vocal critics, what else should be done…. what specific answers are needed?
      • The poster of the email gives permission in the text for it to be used on ozbargain, (assuming it is genuine)

This isn't at all meant to be a troll post, but I highly recommend using the olde style double-edge straight razor.

It costs me all of $10 a year for blades and IMHO it's the best shave I've had (having tried Mach 3 etc etc).

    http://www.artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-y…

I also know this has little directly to do with the deal, so neg away.

I am the DE straight razor messiah.
