I stumbled across this deal while looking for a cheap small portable DAB+. Other stores have it for $90+ so I think this isn't a bad price. Postage is a very reasonable $2 too.
My order arrived within 2 days.
Cheers.

Yep, good price for this one. I have/use it for the bus trip to work and back from the eastern suburbs to Sydney CBD. Although it has a built-in rechargeable battery, I have found the reception much better than the other brands/models I have tried (and returned) with standard rechargeable/disposable batteries. Perhaps that is a trade-off. It still cuts out in some areas so does anyone know how to cheaply/effectively improve reception in a moving vehicle? I presume it employees the headphone wires for reception like other such portable radios without built-in telescope antennas.
I also have a Sangean DAB with built in rechargeable battery. This is for good battery life - DABs with normal batteries have poor usage life. This could be because of the LCD screen, scrolling text, info constantly being updated etc.
As for reception, there's pretty much nothing you can do. Some stations send a more powerful signal than others. For example ABC's digital stations seem fine but some of the others eg Stardust (oldies music) cut in and out. Mine has a built in extendable antenna and no matter which direction I point it, it doesn't seem to change much.
I hope this helps.
Nice/ I picked up an Bauhn Aldie FM,Digital unit, about half the size, can run ear phones and does good job on digital. FM good and large reception. It may be worthwhile to view the
unsold locked displays/ Wheneyxk last I looked, Mt Omaney and Oxley had one or two , where as Lutwyche, Toowoomba stores were cleared/ Happy lisssstening. But do not forget the +
I got this one from JB for $37, although a bit bulky it does the job too.
