Alterations: Shorten Pants and Jeans under < $10

I am struggling to find cheap alternation place in sydney. Most of them charge $15 anywhere I checked.
Doesn't make sense.

Just seeing if anyone knew a place in Sydney CBD or close to there. $15 seems a lot to shorten.

I pay $18.90 for a shorten done in 30 minutes. I really should buy a cheap machine and learn how to do it myself.

There's a small alteration shop in the Sussex Arcade (631 George Street) that will shorten jeans for $10 while you wait (around 10 mins). If you really insist on meeting your "< $10" criteria, you may be able to negotiate down to $9.95?

  I found sort of near there (near central station). I paid $9 per pants as I had over 5.

    It's a little shop in the arcade next to Charlie Chan's bar. The arcade links George St to Sussex St.
