you only need to ask for $310 and they will do it for you.

I'm negging this ONLY because it isn't a bargain. Quite a few retailers have it at $333 and you can purchase it cheaper - I bought two 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) at $249 each from two different retailers (one was JB-HiFi)

and you did this by performing tricks?

    • like getting tricked into thinking it was a 2013 model….? :P

    • @AlexF
No. Asked TGG to match Kogan. They didn't originally but ended up doing it for me. (and gave me 32GB when Kogan offered 16GB)
Then asked JB to match TGG, and so on…

      @Kudos83
Would have been a pointless upgrade from my 2012 model then, wouldn't it?

      • do they accept the pic receipt u posted? as in……go JB and ask?

  • This is funny, I'm surprised it hasn't had 30+ votes by this stage since its just as good as any other nexus 7 deal posted.

Also it isn't really fraud to price match, it's more incompetence by the salesperson if they can't differentiate between the two generations and different memory sizes.

So, if someone incompetently drops their wallet, it's only too right that you take advantage of this?

Not really the same things now are they? To be comparable, the guy with the dropped wallet would have to give permission to take his contents, like the salesperson complying to the price you barter. The salesperson has an opportunity to always refuse deal. So yeah if the dude dropping his wallet complies for you to take his cash, then yeah that would be all good to take advantage. :-)

The scary thing is all the misinformation these salespeople dish out day in and day out, now if an ill informed customer gets taken advantage of by a salesman that is ok, but when a savvy shopper does it, it's wrong… You aren't Gerry Harvey by any chance?

I think they are - wallet owner walks away without awareness of its drop and salesman transacts without awareness of specification discrepancy. Neither would proceed if made aware of their incompetence allowing you to take advantage of it. Whether you do take advantage of such defines you.

You aren't Gerry Harvey by any chance?

          yes.

        I agree with Ronnnie.

Alex, you took things out of context and trolled with it.

(mind you I love trolling too. it can be a lot of fun).
