    What if the cord snaps under your weight, and you end up with a neck injury and have to die slowly as a paraplegic in the woods?

    Don't trust a badly made parachute cord, even if it's to hang yourself.

  For air sports (parachuting, paragliding) landing on a tree might be an issue, so it worth carrying DENTAL FLOSS with you. That gives you 50-100m or rope so people can help you from the ground (so you can pull up longer rope, saw, whatever)
  Put a couple of feet of shoe lace on your wrist? I don't get it…
