JB Hi-Fi discounts on TVs?

I was planning to by a television for my girlfriend, since she needs a new one, other one has finally crippled. Anyways, apparently I missed out the 15% off sale at JB's, does anyone know how muh on regular basis Jb takes off purchase of a tv? Can you possibly haggle mentioning about the 15% sale? If they can do 15% sales, they should be able to on a regular occasion?
Was planning to get a full HD samsung 32-46 3d tv, even with out the 3D would be a option. Is there anywhere else besides ebay I could get it as cheap as possible? Thanks.

  • You can always try haggling at jbhifi. Just need to know what is fair price.

Bare in mind, not so much margin on cheaper products. The cheapest are there to make the jump to next model up.

  • I found that during JB's 20% sale last weekend they were the cheapest, but not by much based on a quick search by model number on www.staticice.com.au

  • Thanks, checked a few shops.Where would be the cheapest place for samsung televisions?

    • That's like asking where the cheapest petrol is at this time of the morning. One day it will be shop x, next day it will be shop y. You just need to find a shop that you are happy to be a regular customer of and find a salesman who will cut the price to the bone for you on a regular basis.

  • Add Costco to the title,

    I'm also looking for a 42inch TV.

If someone could post the costco offerings that would be ideal.

Actually considering getting a Costco membership just for the TV.

Note for JBHIFI, they have different store prices from online, even though its not online only prices, you have to tell them if you buy from the store to correct prices.

Having said that JB HIFI except when they have those big disounts are rarely the lowest these days.

  • If you know which Samsung TV model you are after, then AnyPrice.com.au can tell you which shop has the best price today. Most retailers are listed and prices are updated daily.

If you are not sure which model then try this link or search

You can even make good use of the price match if your preferred store does not have the best price
