This stuff is terrible for dogs.

You'd be a chum for doing such a thing.

    • What's better?

      • blah blah black hawk blah canidae blah not pedigree blah

Royal Canin, Science Diet, Eukanuba (though best to avoid for moral reasons as they still do animal testing).

Better yet - raw food. Raw bones and meat (white, red, fish) with plenty of vegetables and oils.

Reason: Supermarket dry food contains a LOT of wheat-based products as filler which is really bad for dogs. An easy way to tell is check your dogs turds - dogs on cheap dry food poop massive slops of yellow that stink like the crack of a long haul truck driver. Dogs on decent dry food turd way less (there's less "waste"/filler) and it doesnt stink as bad. Dogs on raw food poop little nuggets that smell like a fresh country breeze and break down into powdery nothingness within about 20 minutes.

(NB - There may be some slight hyperbole in the above)

My dog only eats pedigree as a last resort. What's a brand that all dogs love?

  • black hawk holistic food is the best in my experience. I never liked the expensive food market but I have seen good results and the dogs love it. the dogs also are not eating as much. their poop is not sickly. less farts. better skin. better behavior less sluggish and most of all the epileptic one stopped having seizures which a few other people on the net also experienced seizures in some inferior dog foods and my dog with sensitive stomach does not throw it up.

  • Cheap enough for human consumption!

  • So chumpy you could carve it.
