Internal Hard Drive 1-1.5TB

Greetings. My first thread here so please be nice :D

Looking for a SATA II or III hard drive, preferably seagate or WD and not a grey import.

Just look it up on Staticice:

You'll find a lot of portable drives listed there. That's because the sweet spot for desktop drives has moved up. Try a 2TB drive for example:

Ok found Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB which will meet my requirements. Will this work on a SATA2 port?

Cheapest on static ice is $164, any other deals?

  SATA III is backward compatible with SATA II.
  
  $164 sounds like it's a high performance drive. Looks at specs: 7200 RPM. Is this what you want? A run of the mill 2TB is under $100.

yep turned out I only need a Seagate 2TB ST2000DM001. Thank you very much. Cheapest is $97 for a pickup.
