  • Is that you Frank Walker?

  • I bought three pairs of this brand when they were $9.90 on this deal: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/107742

The steel cap hurt my toes on the side. That doesn't happen with my steel blue shoes.

    • Different shoe.

Also, I have to say that if you paid $9.90 for a brand name safety shoe, then you've more than likely purchased a cheap imitation.

      • So, you are saying that http://www.workweardiscounts.com.au/ "more than likely" is selling "cheap imitations", based solely on price?

I guess in your mind, ozbargain deals must be nearly all for cheap imitations because we have lots of deals for 70 -90% off. I don't know why you would want to associate your business with this website if you think it is full of cheap imitations.

Some people were happy with the $10 shoes they received, if you read the thread I listed. I just had the one issue with them. I believe they are the same brand as what you are selling (not a cheap imitation) so I am advising my fellow ozbargainers to be aware that the steel cap could be an issue.

        • I'm saying be wary of offers that are selling products at less than half the price of wholesale. Of course there are loss-leader offers but rarely will you find any that are capable of sending a retailer broke.

Would you sell 100's of products at $5 if you bought them for $10?
