PennyTel mobile beware

I have a pennytel sim 4 years ago which I have since cancelled . Recently this SIM card suddenly surfaced out of the blue with a data usage which Pennytel insisted it was mine and charged it to my Pennytel account.
I have rung Pennytel help landline and was put on hold , ending up in its voice message bank . I email to the company support team and was acknowledged that I have reported the billing matter.

I have requested Pennytel to terminate the rogue sim card immediately when I am aware of the data usage billing whilst Pennytel investigated my claim in order no further illegal data usage cost would be incurred.Since then 9 days have passed, I have not received any replies from Pennytel either to my many telephone calls or my several email messages. The rogue SIM card has not been suspended ,or canceled or terminated. Obviously as expected further data usage has occurred. I do not know the reasons why Pennytel has chosen to ignore my request.

I have since taken the billing issue to the Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman who has advised Pennytel to contact me to discuss to resolve the billing issue.

I am waiting to hear from Pennytel.

I have been a customer of Pennytel for over 6 years and I am very surprised with its lack of customer care services especially with its billing issue.

Have any one in the oz bargain land has any billing issue with Pennytel and would like share with us ?
Perhaps we can all learn from our mistake ie difficulty dealing with online companies with no site offices to deal with counter complaints or providing credit card details for auto payment facilities with difficulties in halting payment .

    I understand now why Pennytel has neglected its good business conducts and virtually kills its customer care services.

    Yes, Steptoe , mate , I think now what I know of Pennytel now, I might have to port my mobile phone to a reliable service provider . No thanks to online companies with no site offices , ever again.

    PennyTel cheep u get what u pay for customer service is some donot get with pennytel.
