Emirates are having discounted fares to Asia again
Melb -> singapore $480 return (+taxes)
brissie -> singapore $480 return (+taxes)
sydney -> bangkok $576 return (+ taxes)
travel dates are 1/4/09-22/6/09
Flew emirates last time they had such a deal and was quite happy with the standard of the flight
how much are taxes?
i hate when they dont include taxes

Its different depending on the port but they do have a disclaimer in the email:
The highest combination of taxes as at 26th March is AUD126.
When I checked the Melb - Singapore route the total fare was $585 so taxes would be $105
is this for return or one way. wesbite seems to say its only for one way tickets (at the prices you mention above)
return - in the emirates email that I received one way to singapore was 360$ and bangkok $432
Cheap rates for a full-service carrier but expensive compared to jetstar/tiger/air asia combos.
