Many outdated text books going for $1 each.
Was told that there are 2 pallets of these coming in later today.
On a separate table there are some newer titles going for 50% off as well.
Click here for some photos of what my colleagues have bought.

Yes there were some cook books but when I was leaving the cafe owner next door came and bought a bunch of em so I'm not sure how many are left now. There are 2 pallets of books coming in so chances are there will be some more in them as well.
Are they all just textbooks?
I am looking for a book called "The Genius of China : 3000 Years of Science, Discovery and Invention" by Robert Temple
Saw it for $1 at a public library many years ago
Only about half of them are text books actually. All types of books can be found in the pile. However, I wouldn't try to find a specific book there as the chances may be pretty small.
We just went and picked out a few that we felt interested in. I guess sooner or later someone will buy all the books originally priced $200-300 for $1 each and sell them on ebay for profit.
Are there any UQ students out there who can advise if the UQ store are running a sale?
Nope. No $1 books at UQ.
The $1 books are a nice diversion from the $150-$200 textbooks that fill up the rest of the Co-op bookshop (and which you have to buy for your courses)
Read about the 9 planets in our solar system, or learn how to programme in basic, learn about the latest Palm PDA.
Cook, maths and Physics Books are still relevant from 20 years past.
Thanks for the heads up. I went today and there was a staff member who was bringing out more titles as I was having a look. The sales staff said that there will be more books brought out next week. Pretty much a crapshoot as to the titles available.
Thanks! Did you see any cookbooks by any chance?
