  The second lens is handy as a door stop… most will never need it.

    Got an 18-105mm lens instead of the regular kit ones for precisely that reason!

  Whether the 55-200mm is useful depends on what sort of photography you want to do, 55-200 is great if you need that little bit extra zoom, for example the other day i was taking some shots at my daughters school concert and with the 55-200 i was able to get some great full frame shots of her which i couldn't with a smaller lens.
