A little bit cheaper than found on staticice.com.au, good if anyone don't have one of them nearby.

Not bad but rather have a 16:10 IPS Dell on special for similar money.
Would you explain please to this dinosaur the difference/benefits of a 16:10 aspect ratio over that of a 16:9 ratio?
16:9 is usually 1920x1080 which is Full HD TV resolution.
16:10 is 1920x1200
16:10 is actually a bigger screen vertically with more pixels but not necessarily higher resolution. Much better for applications and spreadsheets etc.
There are lots of cheap and nasty 16:9 screen with TN panels with very poor viewing angles. Not so many bad 16:10 screens with most being higher quality.
Thank you SamR
How do the samsung 3 and 7 series monitors compare? I'm looking to get one for my notebook.
So how's this monitor like?
