      Thats like saying, you want a house, save $400,000 then buy one. By then, houses worth $400,000 now is worth $1m. Compounded your savings is only $700,000.

        Maybe a ";-)" at the end would have clarified in case it got confused as serious financial advice! PS. Not everyone needs to buy a house (if they don't have the money) to have a roof over their head, the same way I don't need a Ferrari to get to work.

      Most people get into debt because of kids i.e. having to buy a car or two to get to work for husband and for mum to drop off/pick up kids? Having to pay rent when living in major cities? Luckily I haven't gotten in debt yet but it only takes a bad medical issue or a broken down car when a 7 seater is needed but I guess that's what insurance is for.

  Debt is good if its for appreciating assets but I expect the book would focus on depreciating assets like the silly kids getting personal loans to buy cars and maxing their cards by buying rubbish.

    Not sure if i totally agree with that as these eBooks are FREE.
    Also reading books gives you access to otheres experiences which you can learn from and avoid costly mistakes.

    It is best to follow in the footsteps of others who have been successful than trying to trail blaze your own path sometimes.
