So I bit on the recent deal here and upgraded my Galaxy Nexus to a Nexus 4
Any suggestions for where to get best accessories?
In particular Screen Protector and maybe a case

I've had my Nexus 4 since February, the only accessories I've bought are the official bumper case (~$30 but worthwhile in my opinion) and a Nokia Wireless charging plate, which was on sale for $20 at DSE some months ago and I thought it was worth a go at that price.
almost bought the official bumper but thought it was overpriced - will have another look
As per you I would buy a charging pad if it was cheap but not that much hassle to plug in the cordBeg to differ about charging.
My N4 charging is not very smooth, not sure how to explain.
I am worried about the area being broken after a year, given the number of times I charge it.
Any recommendation for a good/cheap charging pad would be much appreciated.I bought a bundle very cheap on eBay: consists of case, 2x screen protector, and usb mini charger.
The case is a wallet-type case, which is great for work;
At work, during lunch time, I dont need to carry a mobile and a wallet.
I just put my money and credit card into the mobile and off I go. Nice.The screen protector tho is a failure for me as I dont know how to put it properly:-(
Me and wife are using US$2-3 case bought off ebay.com.
We're both using these items (the phone and the case) since January. No complains here. The case is rubber gel but covers the back too. Different colours for both of us (black and pink)

USB charge connection (and no adaptor) so may not charge as quickly as power cable?
Same. Upgraded from Galaxy Nexus to Nexus 4, and bought a clear gel case + screen protector off eBay for ~$5 delivered. Went with an Australian store to minimise the time the phone is unprotected.
Glass back is a nice piece of hardware but I've heard too many stories of shattered back. I usually hate phone cases and extra film of screen protector. I've had my Galaxy Nexus for over a year without one, dropped numerous times, and had only one small scratch on the glass (near the front-camera so not blocking the screen). I wouldn't want to take the same chance with N4.
Also since N4 doesn't have removable battery, maybe you would want to invest in a power bank charger.
Another popular accessory to check out would be Q1 wireless charger. IMHO it's more a gimmick but some found it cool and useful.
