I think I've got realiable source to say that you actually run that shop instead of a genuine customer. Why not just declare yourself as the merchant?
Firstly a reply concerning a conflict of interest….
I live in the area, I want to promote the industries in the area although I have to admit I do deliveries in the area. I got no special deal, I just went into their temporary retail showroom. The price I paid was wholesale, I have seen the original prices on old catalogues.
Secondly I didnt mention anything about valuations, but you're probably right but in any case, I will present my catalogue to the insurance assessor when/if I need to claim - afterall, the valuation covers the replacement cost.

This jewelers does not appear on the Jeweler's Association of Australia's website, even though they claim to be a member.
There are only two JAA jewelers in Caloundra and neither match this address, phone number, or company name.
Could be an oversight, but still makes me nervous…
