  • "$20 off applicable to time and kilometre charges only."
So…. unlimited or included kilometres negates this offer ?

    "Minimum one day applies."
So… a half day rental is out then ?

This must have been a quick Friday afternoon marketing meeting - after beer o'clock, and drawn up on the back of a pie packet !! Good work Avis.

    • "$20 off applicable to time and kilometre charges only."

All this means is the $20 discount can only apply to the time and km components of the rental fee (ie not the location surcharges, additional fees, taxes etc). If you hire with unlimited kms that shouldn't affect the discount at all.

This is my common-sense interpretation, so don't take my word as authority.

  • Shame it doesn't apply to existing bookings, already got one for Oct.
I'm guessing too that code stacking isn't allowed, nor can you use it on 3rd party sites (eg carrentals.com), so unless you manage to do a sneaky & call Avis after getting the cheapest price already from another site & trying to get this code added then you can prob do better via a 3rd party site.
Having said that, I've found with Avis that a quick call to their nearest branch & asking for the best price incl any discounts they have often works to get a great rate - at least in NSW.

  • Wow, worked for early December & late Jan ! :)
    Thanks Heaps OP !

  • I'm getting much better prices at my local budget.
Where to go for insurance? 1cover domestic travel?

  • That's awesome post. I needed to book car for DL test and this voucher has done the magic. Not to mention, the car for which the rental is generally $76, I got it for $22 via Corporate Discount + This $20 voucher. Sincere thanks to OP :)

  • It is nice information shared regarding the car renting, while traveling to Australia I mainly rent car from https://ariescarrental.com.au/perth-car-rental-cars.html that provide such offers with family travel. So enjoy traveling with such offers according to your family size.
