STEAM: Dungeon Siege Complete $5 (4 Titles) - 75% off

170

Contains DS, DS2, DS3 & DS3 legends of the Sun.

I have only played the original , and considered it reasonable. The combat is somewhat passive, but I played the game through to the end.

Currently I am playing the MMO The Secret World, quite a good if somewhat hard game though is little hyped.

DS3 is tripe, played it for an hour with the mindset that surely it was going to get better. Nope.

  • DS3 is great fun, me and my bro played through it in co-op!
And DS1 was great when it came out, not sure about 2 though.

    • did you put the patch on that allows you to have split screens (IE you dont need to be on the same screen all the time, man that totally changed the game and made it 100% better)

  • Loved Dungeon Siege 1 back in the day. DS3 was punch in the face and a kick in the balls to anyone who put down money for it (me).

    • DS3 was still a punch in the face and a kick in the balls to anyone who used their precious private tracker ratio for it (me). :|

  • DS1 and 2 were great but the graphics are very very dated now (tried to play them again recently but just couldnt do it)

DS3 is a completely different game to the first 2 but still very fun and great graphics.

  • Just sold some TF2 items on the community market for $4 nice now just need an another $1 and this game bundle is mine!. I've never played Dungeon Siege before.

  • The first two were amazing at the time. I tried playing DS1 earlier this year, but stopped because I've been spoilt with much more fluid combat and ui systems from games like Torchlight and D3. It's hard to play.

I don't think this comes with the expansions for the first two games either?

  • I believe I had to force antialiasing for Dungeon Siege 1 since it didn't have that option in its video options settings. Another setting that needs to be forced for improved visual quality on some older games (such as Gothic 1) is Anisotropic Filtering. It particularly improved ground textures, and x8 is fine. Another trick for DirectX 9+ games to to use SweetFX, a post processing engine with SMAA, luma sharpening, bloom, etc. SweetFX ( http://sweetfx.thelazy.net/ ) is useful for games that don't have decent antialiasing built in, like The Secret World.

  • Now that I have organized Steam Funds…..I need people to play the series with :\

  • I enjoyed the first two and played DS3 recently and enjoyed it - just a bit of mindless fun. Can't complain for $5.
