All I can say is "Buyers Beware" and that our local wholeseller is investigating these guys

      • Mate I think you should investigate Costco as well!
        They're selling 12 bricks for $20!
        Buyer beware?

        • easy tiger :-)
          We will let wholesaler investigate.
Either way, the customer wins, as we will be able to provide the same :-)

        • The ones received from eBay look okay to me.. pretty smooth, perhaps you can give tips on to how they may be fakes?

        • Thanks for the feedback.
We never claimed they were fake, we said "buyers beware".
We want all customers to win.
And we want the ability to offer the same pricing, so we asked our wholesaler to investigate.

Regarding Costco, thanks for letting us know.
Our research showed that Costco has an annual membership $60 for individuals.

So, to buy a brick of cards = $20 + $60 membership + long drive there + parking nightmare + long queue to get in (security checks for membership to get in) + time spent browsing massive warehouse + long queue to pay for 1 brick + long queue to get out (security checks receipts on way out) + long drive home.

And our research indicates that most people buy more than 1 item in Costco. So total time and money spent at Costco is greater than $20 + $60 annual membership.

Thanks again for helping us negotiate better pricing from our wholesalers and to get better pricing for our customers.
          Kind regards

Maybe your wholesaler is ripping you off :P

Yep, but the OzBargain Cheapass way is to refund the annual membership immediately :P
TBH Costco is only worth it if you live in that general area. Buying in bulk is no biggie in grocery shopping if its something that never goes on special at woolies/coles or aldi, and things you use frequently.

I think you may get a better deal through sourcing your cards at Costco rather than your local wholesaler! :D

        • Cheers Buddy

          What is Cheapass?

        • Absolutely brutal in terms of saving money… where legally allowed :)
Ethics are not taken into consideration

        • ooohhhh

          I read it incorrectly…
          I thought it was like a bus-pass

  • Good price. Usual price for a deck is $12 in games stores.

12 deck 'bricks' of Bicycles are always $20 in Costco. They only had the combined 6xblue + 6xred when I got one a fortnight ago in Melbourne but that shouldn't bother most people.

    • I have bought the "real" ones direct from America before.
My CostCo ones exactly the same.
After paying so much for them before it feels
extravagant to have so many packs now! :)

      • Yep, there's no difference in US and international stock, they're all the same basic USPCC cards wherever you buy them (unless you take a punt online and risk getting knock-offs). At the Costco prices there's hardly any point trying to save a few cents and risk getting shoddy copies from eBay etc. - in many cases you pay more and end up with dreadful quality.

I should start splitting the Costco bricks and selling them individually by the looks of things on here…

    • There is no Costco in Perth :(
If I remember correctly, you need to pay some sort of yearly membership fee too right?

A brick for $20 indeed is cheap. Much cheaper than my imported bricks… sigh this is the time where I really want to move to east coast if I want to sustain my street performing career…

  • black set looks better :P

  • This is on par with the "used casino cards" IMO.

    • is it possible to get used casino cards? i heard they punch holes through them but im ok with that. heard the quality is still fantastic when they chuck em

      • Yep. Can be had for $1 a deck around the souvenir shops on the side streets of The Strip.

Wouldn't be caught dead playing euchre with anything else!

      • Depends - some are good and some bad. They 'void' them so they can't be smuggled into the casino and used in a game by cutting off the corners (top right and bottom left, away from the indices). Some are done well but in some the cuts are markedly different on each card(!) which can almost make them marked if you manage to notice an unusual cut on an important card. Still, they're not bad for just casual home games but I'd personally just get brand new bikes for anything important.

Apparently if we sell 4 blue dresses of 1 brand and then 4 different brand dresses, it is the same deal. That makes a lot of sense.

      • Your H43A0ZNKDD6Z coupon code is for free shipping, and it is valid across a number of your products. Posting each of these separate products as a new 'deal' every 2 days is just spam.

        • Thanks for the feedback and you have an interesting point of view.
Creating a coupon for FREE POSTAGE for every deal seems excessive.

Creating a coupon for a specific deal is acceptable to us.
Unfortunately, the shopping cart software has a limitation with coupons and we can only select one or the other. We will put in a feature request to have this remedied.

The moderator has taken down the 2nd Deal so its all sorted.
Thank you for making our shop and the coupon system a better experience.

          Kind Regards
