Hey All,
A few weeks ago, I travelled via Tiger from Melb to Syd and return.
No Issues there.
Except they changed the flight a few times, and each time I was offered:
Refund
Accept the changes
Change to another flight
As the flight changes were minimal, I've accepted changes and flew with no issues.
I've got another upcoming flight with them in about 2 weeks, and yet again, the flight's being changed. However, now they will only offer me the chance to change to another flight. And despite the minimal difference, I think it's cutting it too close for my comfort, so I want a refund, which they say no to, because the flight is being delayed "only 3 hours"
Anyone know why they've stopped offering refunds on their screw ups?
(the first flight change was 1 hour if that makes any difference)
Not sure about previous versions but the latest "Fare Conditions" at www.tigerair.com/au/en/fare_conditions.php state that a full refund is only offered if your rescheduled departure time is more than 4 hours before or after the original departure time.
When did you book your flights? You would have a stronger case if more favourable conditions applied at the time you bought the tickets.
