PER to MEL on Tiger, any hidden charges?

Hi guys

Anyone traveled with tigerair lately? Last time i took tiger was in 2011 and i was asked to pay a fee because i did not do web check-in. I'm trying to avoid all these traps now. any advice? I can't seem to find any reference to online check in i assume they got rid of that now.

    It might be useful to keep in mind that cabin baggage cannot exceed 10kg per person, and they do seem to enforce this rule by weighing at the gate.
