Hi there,
Last week, I found an incredible deal on Officeworks website.
It's a deal : Samsung XE700T1A-A01 Slate PC at Price $299 with Dock and Bluetooth Keyboard
I didn't realized that its price was far below its value, but after a few mins I checked all other websites, e.g. JB Hi-Fi, Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, MLN, MSY, EBay, even Samsung's official website. All clues pointed out that this Slate PC worthies more than AU$1000(that's the PC only price, no mention the Dock and Bluetooth keyboard).
Dock worthies : AU$79, Bluetooth Keyboard : AU$99
I even did a comparison between this tablet-like PC with other Windows tablets e.g. Acer Iconia W510($498) and Lenovo ThinkPad Tab2($894). The hardware configuration of this Samsung Slate PC far outperforms its rivals.(Please see the comparison of hardware screen shot). And it's a 64 bit PC with 4GB memory, 64GB hard drive, Intel Core I5 2467M CPU!!!
The only disadvantage(maybe an advantage for somebody) might be : it's a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS. But I don't care about it, because I still have one extra Windows 8 Pro which I bought half a year ago when it's just US$14.95.
I just couldn't figure it out why it's so cheap(Samsung official website: AU$ 1699.99, other rest of others range from AU$800+ to AU$1200). I think it's a wrong price tag.
Btw, I got it one the same day when I put my order. (1AM ordered, 4PM received)
I am still so excited about this deal, can anyone tell me why it's this cheap?
Looks like a pricing error. Can't find it on OW website anymore.
