28 Degrees credit card with ING 5%

Hi guys,
I have both 28 degrees credit card (with buyer protraction ) and the ING
So was thinking about for stores that don't have pay pass using 28 degrees and when the statement out I pay for the 28 degrees using the ING card in the post office

By using this method I could save around 4% (due to 28 degrees charge 0.5% plus $2 for using post office)
Who does not like extra saving if he can ?!?

Is that possible to do ? Anyone tried it ?

Probably won't work, as you can't pay off a credit card with another credit card. Not sure about Visa debit if you have one (does the 5% deal apply here?).

    • This. Even though the ING card is debit, Paywave is a credit transaction. The other issue is for large amounts you would have to convince the PO clerk to allow multiple waves.

  • Why not use Bpay to make payment?

    • Because that won't have the 5% saving from the ING card.

  • This is silly, you can't pay credit card payments by paywave/paypass or credit option, the only option @ auspost is savings or cheque.

Can we ban threads about ways to rort the ING 5% cashback already?
