  • That reminds me, I should start playing burn out from the bundle, I like how ea is really milking the sims 3 expansions.

    • They wouldnt make them if the masses didnt want them

  • Didn't see any really good deals, anyone notice any?

(maybe I'm a bit spoiled by the humble bundle).

    • NFS shift for $5

Am i the only one that didn't know sims 4 was already announced?

The Sims 4 announcement was really low key. As a massive fan of all the Sims games, I didn't hear about it for at least 2 weeks after it was announced.

Anyone else having trouble launching The Sims 3? The Sims3 launcher appears, but does nothing after I click the play button

    • +8

The actual game itself is DLC.

      • +2

        A perfect representation of EA

  • Dead Space 2 (was 19.99 now 5.99) to complete the trilogy from the humble bundle is tempting :O

    • +1

rumors are that ds2 will be added to the humble bundle soon

    • +1

don't buy until you find out the bonus games tomorrow! I have a feeling Dead Space 2 will be included :)

    • +1

In addition to the comments above, you can get Dead Space 2 for $3.75 during steam sales.

    • You should wait and see if Dead Space 2 gets added to the Humble Origin Bundle. This EA Origin 70% off sale doesn't end until 27th of August any way so you've still got time.

    • Well I just purchased Dead Space 2. 2 extra games on Humble Bundle are: Populous and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising

  • Warning though, origin is a buggy piece of shit.

    • If EA were to put out an exact coding clone of Steam client, people would still say it's a buggy piece of shit.

      • +2

Because it would still be a buggy piece of shit.

If that's your way of defending Origin, then maybe you can come around and see if you can get battlefield 3 to launch on my PC as I've tried everything.
As a last resort, I downloaded a cracked .exe to bypass origin all together and what-do-you-know, it launched straight away and I can now at least play the campaign on 1920x1080 ultra settings. beautiful game by the way, shame about Origin.

        • I thought Origin were playing silly buggers when I had to launch BF3 through a browser.

I'm neutral on Origin client, it works fine for me.

If only EA would stop releasing buggy games at exorbitant prices.

I thought this is an energy discount deals for a second there…

  • Sims 3 Island Paradise expansion at $11.99 is a lot cheaper than you can buy anywhere else.

Even CD key joints want over $20 for that puppy…

BF3 Premium for $14.99 isn't bad as far as expanding your humble bundle goes

  • any advice on worthy Sims 3, BF3 and Deadspace 3 dlc?

    • I bought Awakened for deadspace 3. I thought it was alright for the price

    • For Sims 3, to expand the gameplay so it feels a bit more like 'life', Generations, Seasons and Ambitions are good options. World Adventures is worth it, it's almost like a separate game, and has hours of gameplay if you really get into it. Pets is cute, but a bit gimmicky and limited in what it adds to the game.

      • My daughter reckons Seasons is the best.

  • Too bad there's no sale on DLC. You can buy Mass Effect 3 for $24 or the ME Trilogy for $40, but the DLC for ME3 will add up to $50, for about 6 hours of gameplay.

  • BF3 Premium absolutely worth it for $15 if you will actually play the game.
