Indian Channel Satellite Decoder - Brisbane Area

Hey guys

I have a massive 2 meter c band satellite dish in my backyard (Pheonix brand).

i wanted to buy a decoder for it so I can watch the Indian channels on my TV.

Im in Brisbane area and have talked to some of the company's that supply them here.

All of them have recommended the Satking 250 Decoder (talked to Joysat in Archerfield and they're selling it for $150)

Does anyone know about these things or have had any experience with them?

I have no idea about these things so just wanted to get some help before I go out and purchase the decoder.

Thanks guys!

  • Get MeTV form Optus its a better/cheaper deal than buying a Decoder.

    • I'm with TPG (on the Telstra network) for my home phone and broadband

  • If you have good internet connectivety:
1.Go for Roku (http://shop.roku.com/) costs around $60-80. You can get this from Amazon store delivered to AUS.
    2. Subscribe for Yupp TV channel ( costs 15-20/m)
then get rid of all the 2m dish, cable etc.
    enjoy 20+ channels
I am using this for 2yrs and no complains at all. Most of my friends in Mel are using the same.
