Hi all,
It's my mother in laws birthday tomorrow, she is would like a hair dryer for her birthday. I have no idea what feature I should be looking for or what is best. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm looking for the best hair dryer under $70 and I need to be able to purchase and give it to her tomorrow, not fussed on brand. Thanks in advance.
Best Hair dryer under $70?

Sometimes it comes down to what your MIL will be using it for - if just to dry hair you could buy a fairly basic one, but if it will be used regularly for straightening, or adding volume etc you may want something a little more powerful with attachments (eg. concentrator, diffuser; explained here: http://www.bellasugar.com/What-Do-Different-Attachments-Hair…).
They also vary in power - the one I use daily has 2000watts, and does a great job.
You can also buy at target/myer/priceline type shops.
Needs to have diffuser and concentrator. Also live in S.A. so we don't have Joyce Mayne(well I've never heard of it anyway) I will take a look at the websites of the shops listed.

which would you pick?I think they would all do the job. Being an Ozbargainer I would be termped by the half price vival sassoon one at the shaver shop, or the remington one at big W because someone has left a review, but they are probably much the same really - they all have similar wattage and technology. It might depend on which shop is the easiest to get to! My current one is a Breville (hardly a haircare brand, but it's pink and was on sale) and has served me well for some years. Hope that helps.
If it's a mother-in-law then Looftlighter from Bunnings for around $39 might be just the thing.

Parlux.
There are a lot of options for that kind of money. I have a $40 Remington one I got from Joyce Mayne years ago and it seems to do the job whenever I need to use it (don't use a hair dryer that often - few times a year). Joyce Mayne and Harvey Norman both tend to have a large range so you'd probably get a decent one from either one of them on short notice.
